Sir Prize Hass Avocado Tree
Winter Harvested Hass
The Sir Priz Hass avocado tree originated from the University of California and after establishment is a consistent producer about the cold tolerance or hardy as Fuerte. Sir Prize is now used as a commercial variety, though due to premium quality flavor and large size fruit and winter production usually results in the fruit being sold in high end grocery stores. Sir Prize fruit are oval pear in shape with black waxy bumps on the skin just like its parent Hass when ready to harvest.
Large fruit, small seed, of season production, fruits in December through March. Flower is a type B so it also works as pollinator for your Lamb, Gwen and Hass trees. Avo' gourmet life is getting too good to be true........!!!
