The Taggiasca olive tree itself is extremely hardy and grows from sea level up to 1000 meters. Some of the trees live for 300 hundred years and all produce three colors of fruits - red, black and green.

The olives are fairly small but have an extremely low acidity, and once harvested are washed and pressed within 48 hours to retain all that great taste.

Also referred to as a Taggiasco or Tagiasco olive, the Taggiasca Olive provides a delicate flavor and a fruity aroma. This olive is served as a snacking olive, an ingredient to pasta or various foods, and a popular olive for producing high quality oils.
