Avocado Trees From Growquest
Grow your own Avocados in a hot sunny planter bed or indoors in a large container. Avocados are among the most tasty nutritious fruits that you can grow, and fresher is better. The Lamb Hass and Reed trees are known among gardeners to be perfect for small areas and have excellent Hass flavor. Sir Prize Hass offers most gardeners the best choice for really tasty Hass tree because of its cold tolerance.
These awesome fruit trees can be easily grown in the proper climates. Most of our avocado trees are flowering age or fruit bearing trees. Most avocado trees take several years after planting to produce large crops of fruit. For this reason I strongly suggest you get a #15 size tree, most #15 or 15 gallon size trees produce large crops of fruit the year after planting. This way you will not be waiting 3 or 4 years for some little sapling to start making fruit.
In California and Texas we will deliver your order to your door. Local customers may choose to pick up their order in Ventura and Salinas, CA or San Antonio, TX. Total shipping costs are based upon quantity of plants bought, your location and how fast you want the plants there.
Avocado trees make for HORRIBLE house plants for several reasons. If you are thinking of growing an avocado tree indoors, don't. If you are thinking of bringing in the avocado tree for the winter cold, don't. If you make an order for an avocado tree and it appears that you are trying to grow it indoors, your order will be voided. Greenhouse growing is possible but that also requires two trees for pollination and some bumble bees. - Thank you, Chris Gilcrest.

Avocados are a healthy addition to your diet. Avocados are cholesterol and sodium free and have been shown to be excellent sources of monounsaturated fat (good fat), which in studies has been shown to lower LDL (bad) cholesterol and raise HDL (good) cholesterol.
