Phoenix Roebelenii - Pigmy Date Palm

The Pygmy Date Palm is one of the most widely used date palms in the U.S., selected for use where a tropical effect is desired, both indoors and out. It performs best in the coastal areas of California, although it is also found in the low deserts with some measure of effectiveness. The Pygmy Date Palm is hardy to 18 degrees and will grow slowly to 10 feet in height. It prefers ample water and partial shade, as well as feeding and good drainage. It is a low maintenance palm.

$1,500.00 requires a heavy dolly and a two man crew $2,500.00 plus a 4 man crew to move or we can pack and ship it to you.

Phoenix Roebelenii, standing weight is about 900 lbs first it needs to be uncrated and make it smaller.
We split the palm into two sections, the yard has an uphill, narrow gate. This allowed a large palm to be
planted in a cost effective manner. The proud owner trimming up her new palm, love at first the clipping.
