Single Early Tulips
Get a jump on Spring with these early
blooming colorful beauties. Bloom times are early to late March
(depending on your zone) through April. Blooms are stems typically 18 inches
tall, on strong sturdy stems are excellent for standing up against late Winter early
Spring weather. These are also good for forcing blooms in indoor pots and
planters.
These lustrous, cup shaped tulips bloom long before any of their longer-stemmed
siblings. Featuring strong stems, they stand up well to rain or wind and open
fully in sunny weather. They are excellent bedding and forcing tulips as well.
Top size bulbs: at least 12 cm. Height: 12" to 20". Bloom time:
Mid-April. Plant 6" deep and 5" to 6" apart. Horticultural zones
3-8.
