Avocado Trees
Grow your own
Avocados in a hot sunny planter bed or indoors in a large container. Avocados are among the most tasty nutritious
fruits that you can grow, and fresher is better. The Gem and Holiday tree is
known among gardeners to be perfect for small areas and have excellent Hass
flavor. Sir Prize offers most gardeners the best choice for really tasty Hass
tree because of its cold tolerance. While a lot of internet hype seems to be for the
Don
Gillogly Avocado tree, we suggest you find some independent research before
paying twice the price for such a tree. Gardeners get
your shovels ready and your taste buds set.
These awesome fruit trees can be grown
indoors or outdoors. For indoor growing pinch back to keep plants tight or grow
the Little Cado.
Most of our avocado trees
are flowering age or fruit bearing trees. Prices listed
are for mature ready to flower or fruit #5 nursery pots, big plants, but not huge. We also
have huge sizes for certain varieties. You will not be
waiting 2 or 3 years for some little sapling to start making fruit. That also
means these are big plants and require some effort to pack and ship. In
California we will deliver your order. Prices
and check out do not include shipping or delivery charges.
Local customers may choose to pick up their order at the farm. Total shipping
costs are based upon quantity of plants bought, your location and how fast you
want the plants there.
Single or small quantity plant purchases
cost $18.00 to $28.00 per plant to ship, plus packing. Plants are 3 to 5 feet tall and
weigh 20 to 25 pounds. We guarantee the
fruit trees for 12 months to be free of disease and true to variety name.

A heavy producer of
bumpy, green-skinned fruit with nutty, flavorful flesh. Fruit quality is
similar to Hass, but fruit is larger in size, and tree is more
frost-hardy. Smaller tree makes an excellent choice for backyard use.
Self-fertile. Dumped since it was not a reliable producer of fruit. |
