July 10th, 2010 This is issue has been driving me, well as famous US General Gen. Anthony Clement McAuliffe once said "NUTS." Senator McCain has become senile and total loon, Senator Gramnesty is a political, is to be polite Hooker, (since kids read this site a lot) but that is would be demeaning hookers. It is time to leave Afghanistan. This was the war of Obama's choosing, not because he is a Hawk, but because he and Vice President "Bite Me" (to quote a US General recently) made a Presidency and built an extreme leftist democrat congress. We have the most effective military known to human history, that has had its hands tied by the need to kiss the ass of corrupt leaders in Pakistan. We cannot conquer and nation build countries in the name of stopping terrorism. President Bush did the right thing in asking our soldiers to go to there an knock the snot out of the Al-Qaeda and Taliban punks back to their pre stone age living. President Bush did the wrong thing in leaving them there to try and build a national government that has always been tribal in governing itself. And that has know from the start we would never stay, and all of this pretending has been a costly lost of treasure and lives that two Presidents lacked the courage to admit too early on. President Obama who has spent his entire term fawning all over the radical leadership of Iran, under his watch Iran will become a nuclear armed State. Instead Obama who has nerf balls where he needs a pair of brass one's, he finds it easier to send our fighting forces or keep them in a war that could be won in months if we let HELL LOOSE upon the Taliban. But President Obama won't, President Bush wouldn't and given that men and women are spilling blood and dying and and tax payer is bleeding treasure for nothing. While this may serve Obama, it does not serve the interest of the USA and there is a difference. Service to one's political self interest and not serving the interests of his Country or its citizens. To pursue such an insane idea to its end would have us in Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Syria and host of other human leadership sewage tanks all over the World. We have a elite members of the armed forces and the best equipment in the World to deal the terrorist trash and the leaders who keep them them like the hungry savaged dogs of hell. Better to let loose when needed our best and brightest men and women to put the rabid dogs out their misery and their kennel keepers. Afghanistan is land locked Country with trillions of dollars in mineral wealth that will not benefit us one dollar. Yes war for oil makes sense, and if it was the only reason we went to war in Iraq it would be fine, that is the essence of National Security, but wasn;t the only reason, Saddam was a terrorist supporting terrorism. Afghanistan is giant body bag of political and war lords so corrupt that there are not enough words in our english language to describe it. Hell the only honest people in that cesspool of a country are the drug traffickers, they are what they are and know who they are. We have no business asking US or any other solider from a country friendly to us to fight and possibly die in war where we will not let them do everything they need to do to kill and destroy the enemy. That cannot happen on Afghanistan where we need to kiss Pakistan's ass, pay the billons of hard earned US tax dollars. This at the same time sell our sole and give billions more to support another corrupt but even worse brutal civilian killing regim(s) in Kirguistan. Pack it up and bring them home NOW! Conservatives must begin to embrace our core beliefs and none of us I believe want another dead service member in name of supporting the miserable corrupt puppets in Kirguistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan. We would be falling in lock step of the leftist clowns in our Country who would give Camp Gitmo detainees citizenship, a Section 8 housing grant an earned income tax credit and occupational training to learn something other than building I E D's. No we as conservatives would be honoring the military and preserving its strength for future conflicts. Past Comments Like you, and I wish I could say all of our Country, I am shocked and outraged and heart broken that once again our executive government has failed its only Constitutional job, protect our Nation. The terrorist act at Fort Hood and all the other similar failures that occur on a regular basis are a danger to our liberty. We have very brave MEN and WOMEN who put it all on the line each day to defend our values. Lives are given, lost and or damaged on a daily basis in the service of the Constitution of our Country. Regardless of the your view on the fights they are sent into, these soldiers of freedom and liberty deserve your support and many need our help. Over the years I have donated here and there, but like all you fell really feel the tightness of the economy these days. It is hard to give and a few dollars and feel like you are making an impact. By giving together and making giving even rewarding, I am hoping we can make a bigger impact together. Recently I visited this winery, Curtis Winery, not only do they have outstanding wines, but because of a family member being in the Marines the owners have developed two of outstanding red wines, a Cabernet Sauvignon and full-bodied Bordeaux blend.
