Holiday Avocado Tree
Holiday is an
awesome plant. I have been watching Holiday grow in its popularity for the last
10 years. It is compact tree, reaching about 12 feet without pruning, kept smaller
with some pinching of growth. Holiday produces excellent Hass like fruit,
during, well surprise the Holiday Season in the early winter. Perfect timing for
holiday season cooking.
Holiday can produce
fruit indoors. Make sure there is some intense lighting with good 12 hour
"days." (just put the lights on a timer) Holiday should be planted
into a container of at least 30" inches wide by 24" deep. Soil should
be very sandy with about 50% organic matter or mulch.
Dwarf tree has very large fruit.
Beautiful tree with spreading, umbrella shape that skirts the ground. Not
extremely small, but certainly not a towering tree.
Fruits are very large and attractive and have good flavor. Released from the breeding program
for nursery propagation in 2001.

Shipping
Costs Charts.
Variables include distance from California to you, current plant growth height
and soil mixes. Based upon our experience this what you should expect to billed
for after your order is packed. Shipping charges for potted plants are not
typically billed until after the shipment has been prepared for shipment. The
base fee of $10.75 is used a credit towards any shipping charges that you may owe. We ship
large healthy plants, we make ever effort to make sure that the cargo is as
light as possible.
Shipments
to residential locations are charged an extra fee by UPS, Fed Ex Ground and DHL
$2.50 to $3.50. On multiple plant shipments you will save a lot by having the
shipments sent to primary business location in care of yourself.
Costs
of shipping plants can vary by several dollars depending upon weather, current
potting soil mixes used. You are billed the cost of your freight plus the cost
of packing your order. Packing costs are fixed, freight costs are subject to the
final bill from the carrier that brought your plants or merchandise to you.

We typically ship
fruit trees Monday through Friday. We can ship "urgent orders" right
away if requested.
Potted fruit trees
typically cannot travel "Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air." The plants we
ship are large 5 gallon filled out bushes and trees. The boxes range in height
from 3 feet to 6 feet and would cost upwards of $150.00 to $200.00 to send Next
Day Air or 2nd Day Air.
