Hydro Garden Mite Control No, I have no idea how plants get Spider mites when they have never been outside, and your outside plant have not been inside. But take it as gospel, your little herb or tomato garden is going to get Spider mites. Usually your plants will be attacked by one of two types of Spider mites, Two Spotted Spider Mite and Red Spider Mite. I understand that many of you home gardeners have bought Spider Mite Predators before and have not been satisfied with the results. This happens as result of being sold "old" predator mites or the wrong species of predator. Some are cheaper than others which means an extra $5.00 or $8.00 for the seller. Be sure we have exactly what you need and you will not get old predator mites. The most effective Spider Mite Predators for your needs typically are Bio control V. chemical control? Typically bio control, natural predators is the most effective way to get rid of your Spider Mite Problem. There are a few chemical controls in the market place that will work, for a few days at least. Remember a whole new generation of Spider mite pests will emerge in about 8 days. It is about 8 days from egg to egg laying adult, and each adult Spider mite will lay up to 200 eggs, less than 8 days after those 200 eggs another cycle of egg laying. The chemical controls that are available have usually not been tested for indoor use and TOXIC reactions can result from eating or smoking the plant parts that have been treated with these chemicals. Destruction of your most desired plant can come quickly. First a few yellow spots, then whole yellow leaves. Left unchecked these leaves will often develop very tiny webs. At this point the problem is nearly impossible to bring under control. The only hope at this point is for massive Spider Mite Predator release. If your plant has webs on it, trim back the most severely infested leaves and put them into a plastic bag and place your Mite control order ASAP. |
