Sombreuil Climbing Rose

This healthy, thorny climber (8 ft. x 12 ft.) is perfect for pillars or fence coverage. Provides repeat blooms of creamy white flowers with a cool tea fragrance. The flowers of this rose typify the old rose style. Mlle. de Sombreuil was a heroine of the French Revolution, who is reputed to have drunk a glass of the blood of an aristocrat to prove her father's non-aristocratic status. This rose is among the hardier of the Tea roses.
