These new roses bred by David Austin combine the romantic form and intense fragrance of old roses with the re-blooming trait of modern roses. They vary widely in size and generally grow much wider than hybrid teas or floribundas. The effect is to capture the looks of antique roses, but with a wider color range.

Geoff Hamilton	Warm soft pink very double blossoms.  Medium sized plants grow up to 5 feet.  The flowers have up to 100 petals with good disease resistance.
Gertrude Jekyll	Tall growing shrub to 10 feet with deep warm pink flowers.  Best used a a tall freestanding shrub or a climbing rose.  Flowers have up to 100 petals with good disease resistance.
Glamis Castle	Low growing shrub to 3 feet.  Pure white blooms.  The flowers have up to 100 petals with a strong, myrrh fragrance.  Good disease resistance.
Golden Celebration	Medium shrub growing to 4 feet.  Rich golden-yellow, old fashioned blooms.  Flowers have up to 50 petals with a strong, honey fragrance.  Good disease resistance.
Graham Thomas	Tall shrub growing to 10 feet.  Bright yellow blooms.  Best used as a free-standing background plant or as a climber.  The flowers have up to 100 petals with a mild, fruity fragrance.  Good disease resistance.
Heritage	Tall shrub to 6 feet.  She-pink old fashioned blossoms.  The flowers have up to 100 petals with a strong, sweet fragrance.  Good disease resistance.
Jude The Obscure	‘Jude the Obscure’ vies with Golden Celebration for the first place as the most magnificent of the English Roses. Its flowers are very large and of incurved chalice shape. Their color is a pleasing medium yellow on the inside of the petals and a paler yellow on the outside. It has excellent, strong and almost completely disease-free growth. This rose is particularly fine in a dry climate,
Kathryn Morely	Tall shrub to 6 feet.  Soft pink, old fashioned blossoms.  The flowers have up to 100 petals with a sweet fragrance.  Good disease resistance.
Ludlow Castle	'Ludlow Castle' bears flowers of pristine beauty. Their formation is that of a perfectly dished cup filled with numerous small petals, that lie so closely together that they have the perfection of the feathers of a bird. The color is gentle apricot-blush, which gradually pales to a soft apricot-white.
L.D. Braithwaite	Medium shrub growing to 5 ft.  Deep crimson, old fashioned blossoms.  The flowers have up to 100 petals with a strong sweet fragrance.  Good disease resistance.
Lilac Rose	Low growing shrub to 3 feet.  Soft, lilac-pink, old fashioned flowers becoming pink during warm weather.  The flowers have up to 100 petals with a strong fragrance.  Good disease resistance.
Lillian Austin	Low-growing shrub to 3 feet.  Semi-double, salmon-pink blossoms.  Plant will spread.  The flowers have up to 30 petals with a strong, fruity fragrance.  Good disease resistance.
Mary Rose	Medium shrub growing to 5 feet.  Bright, pink flowers.  The flowers have up to 100 petals with a moderate fragrance.
Miss Alice	A charming rose of true Old Rose character. The growth is quite short, but bushy. The flowers are some three and a half inches across and of a lovely soft pink at first; the outer petals turning to a pale pink, which gradually spreads over the whole flower as it ages. An excellent rose for bedding or for a position towards the front of a mixed border.
Molineux	An excellent rose for bedding, although it is equally good for the border. It flowers with exceptional freedom and continuity, has even upright growth and little or no disease. The flowers are of a rich yellow colors. It has a characteristic Tea Rose fragrance with a musky background.
Othello	Tall shrub growing 6 to 8 feet.  Reddish-purple old fashioned blossoms.  Best used as a tall, free-standing shrub, background plant or as a climber.  The flowers have up to 40 petals with a moderate, fruity fragrance.  Good disease resistance.
Pat Austin	Well-shaped shrubs to 4 feet tall.  The coppery-gold flowers are deeply cupped.  The flowers have up to 50 petals with a strong, old rose fragrance.  Good disease resistance.
Perdita	Low growing shrub to 3 feet.  Soft apricot fading to ivory, old fashioned blossoms.  The flowers have up to 60 petals with a moderate fruity fragrance.  Good disease resistance.
Prospero	Low growing shrub to 3 feet. Deep crimson, mum like blossoms with purple hues. Flowers have up to 60 petals with a rich, spicy fragrance. Good disease resistance.
Sharifa Asma	Medium shrub to 4 feet. Ruffled pale shell pink, old fashioned blossoms. Flowers have up to 100 petals with strong fragrance. Good disease resistance.
		Sophy's Rose	Broad and rather flat, rosette shaped flowers of an attractive light red coloring which should mingle well with other colors. The effect is a little different from other red roses, which tend to have a certain ‘sameness’ about them.
Tamora	Compact shrub to 3 feet. Large double apricot-colored blooms. Flowers have up to 60 petals with a strong, myrrh fragrance. Excellent disease resistance.
Teasing Georgia	Soft yellow with a rich honey colored center. Plants are compact growing to 4 feet tall. Flowers have up to 100 petals with a strong fragrance. Good disease resistance.
		Tess of the d'Urbervilles	Large fragrant flowers of bright crimson colors. They are of a nice, deeply cupped shape in the early stages; the petals turning back to give a less formal but still attractive flower. They bend over with their weight, to give an elegant effect. The growth is robust, bushy and spreading and the leaves large and dark green.
The Dark Lady	Low growing shrub to 3 feet. Rich red old fashioned blossoms. Flowers have up to 100 petals with a light fragrance. Good disease resistance
		The Ingenious Mr Fairchild	The flowers of ‘The Ingenious Mr. Fairchild’ are in the form of deep cups filled with crisp, upstanding petals. The color on the inside of the petals is a deep pink touched with lilac; the outside is of a paler shade.
The Pilgrim	Tall growing shrub up to 10 feet. Pale yellow old fashioned blossoms. Best yellow as a tall free standing shrub or  climber. Very free flowering, flowers have up to 100 petals with a light fragrance. Good disease resistance.
The Prince	Low growing to 3 feet. Crimson purple, old fashioned flowers. Ideal for use as a border, mass planting or as a small hedge. Flowers have up to 100 petals with a strong fragrance.
The Squire	Medium shrub to 4 feet. Dark red old fashioned flowers. Makes a superb cut flower. One of the finest of all of the English or David Austin roses. Flowers have up to 100 petals with a strong old-rose fragrance.
Victorian Spice	Old fashioned peachy pink flowers are intensely fragrant and can perfume an entire garden. Flowers have up to 50 petals with a strong old-rose fragrance. Good disease resistance.
		William Morris	Intensely scented blossoms in alluring shades of apricot and pink. This David Austin masterpiece boasts large, generously perfumed, blooms that stand out dramatically against dark, glossy foliage. A gorgeous color and fragrance companion to lavenders, in the garden and in bouquets.
Winchester Cathedral	A lovely rose with an old fashioned look that produces plenty of white blooms with a slight pink tinge. Repeats well and has pretty good disease resistance. A very beautiful and popular English rose. Highly recommended. Fragrant.
