Growquest and Jackson & Perkins

Working together to bring you premium #1 grade bare root rose plants. Growquest has over 25 new rose products from Jackson and Perkins this year. J&P is changing the way roses are grown, again, with it a aggressive "own root" program. Growquest will highlight this important feature as an option for all roses from J&P.

	Recently Pat Carney, Southern California sales rep for J&P stopped by to look at the progress Growquest was making in growing and selling Jackson and Perkins roses. Pat has been helping growers of J&P roses for over 20 years.
	Green Things in Carson City needed 40 Yellow Simplicity roses right away, after calling all over Nevada and Northern California, they found us, Actually Jackson and Perkins sent them to us. J&P has a huge bare root business but when you want a potted J&P rose in the Summer and need it shipped, we are your source. We ship J&P potted roses all over the Country and export where laws allow for it.

Chris - Pat, of all of the new roses, and there about 25, J&P is offering this year what is your personal favorite?

Pat - I have 3, Aromatherapy, Tuscan Sun and Voluptuous roses. Aromatherapy is our most fragrant rose in 20 years, it has a very powerful sweet scent that can really capture your senses.

Tuscan is a heavy blooming floribunda, J&P was the first rose company to introduce floribunda roses, rose wit ha rich apricot color. It will bloom very heavy and has excellent disease resistance.

Voluptuous is beautiful hybrid tea rose with a huge hot pink bloom. 

Chris - Pat what is your favorite roses?

Pat - Actually my favorite rose is not a new rose but an older one. I think Perfect Moment is the all time best rose. It is has a stunning color and is very reliable.
