Belle Poitevine Rugosa Rose
This rugosa is as lovely as its name. Large loose semi-double blossoms unfurl to display magenta pink petals and gold stamens. Repeat flowering is very good. The bush is purported to grow up to 5' x 5' (mine is somewhat restricted and not as wide). It has a strong fragrance and bears orange/red hips in the fall. Foliage is leathery and dark green. An excellent choice for a hedge.
