Golden Wings Shrub Rose
![]() |
|
| Golden Wings is not unlike a shrubby version of the famous ‘Mermaid’. It has large, almost single, yellow flowers with mahogany-colored stamens and a refreshing scent. Pale green leaves and excellent continuity of flowering. 5 ft. x 5 ft. Large-flowered, clear-yellow 'Golden Wings' was bred in the United States and introduced in 1956. Its informal flower form and habit resemble a wild rose's, and it is just as hardy and vigorous. One of the most popular shrub roses, it has practically thornless stems and offers an early and prolonged bloom. | |
