We also offer October shipping of bare root roses for those gardeners in cold climates that want to get a good planting started a head of the late Fall and Winter weather conditions. This is an ideal method for getting early spring blooms from your roses. These plants are guaranteed to establish themselves or you will get a replacement rose in the Spring. Note that bare rose trees and fruit trees have much shorter schedule schedules. This is due to the fact that these plants dry out very quickly in transit or in garden. You may need to store these plants in a trash with very wet mulch or wood shavings for a week or two prior to the best planting weather in your area. Orders placed past March 31 May require shipment of potted or semi potted roses due to a lack of availability.
Shipments to residential locations are charged an extra fee by UPS, Fed Ex Ground and DHL $2.50 to $3.50. On multiple plant shipments you will save a lot by having the shipments sent to primary business location in care of yourself. Costs of shipping plants can vary by several dollars depending upon weather, current potting soil mixes used. You are billed the cost of your freight plus the cost of packing your order. Packing costs are fixed, freight costs are subject to the final bill from the carrier that brought your plants or merchandise to you.
Our potted roses are big 2 1/2 year old plants, not small hot house or greenhouse plants. We raise them from bare root plants in nursery pots in full sun so they are ready to thrive in your garden. They can take your summer heat or winter cold with no problems. Our roses will arrive to you anywhere from 2 to 8 feet tall. We would like to thank all of the people ordering the huge amount of roses from us. The volume has continue to exceeded expectations and helping us to build a great rose and flowering plant nursery. Because our client is Nationwide with gardeners in many different climate zones, we begin our bare root season in early October, this allows gardeners in colder zones most of our roses in late October and through April. Shipping for the Eastern USA is mostly done via UPS. From late April through September USPS Priority or Express mail may be chosen to avoid damage from heat. Some people have asked for Next Day Delivery on their orders. This is not typically a problem in CA, AZ and NV. Elsewhere this is very expensive and not worth the price, USPS Express mail is the best way for "Next Day Delivery" which is most often 2 days.
